How To Upload Using Dreamweaver
To Upload using Dreamweaver you must first define the remote FTP
location.
1. Please open the Dreamweaver program from your desktop. Go to
Site, Define Sites.

2. Select your site from the list and double click to open the
definition box.

3. Select Local Info from the Category Box.

4. Enter your HTTP address in the Link Management Options as
shown.
HTTP Address: http://yourdomain.com

5 Select "Web Server Info" from the Category box

5. In the "Server Access " box Select FTP. Enter your
FTP Account information provided to you into the following areas as
shown in the diagram below:
FTP Host: yourdomain.com
Host Directory public_html/ or www/ or html/ (depends on server info
sent to you)
User: yourname@yourdomain.com
Pass: your password

Once you have entered your FTP account information, please then
click on OK.
You have now set up the remote location!
You must now upload your site to our servers.
Here are the steps to uploading your site.

1. Open your site in dreamweaver.
|
|
2. With your site open . Click on the "Connect Button"

|

3. From the left hand side, Remote Site , you will see the www
folder from our server. When you see this folder you have connected
to our site.

7. Highlight all of the files you wish to upload and then DRAG
them over to an open area on the left hand side of the program so
that you will upload the files into your WWW directory.
8. Your files will upload instantly onto your site.
9. REMEMBER to name your homepage index.htm (all lowercase) for
your site to be visible so that it overwrites our default index.htm
file we provide to you.
10. Once you have finished uploading your files, go to your site
and visit your finished product!
